Nacer Dos Veces

Nacer Dos Veces (2024), is a photo series of 1st and 2nd generation latinos. The poses and location are chosen by the subjects, with some direction. The environmental stills speaks to and links the portraits to highlight the idea of space, identity, and adaptation. The process of meeting and photographing other latinos reconnects me with others that came from similar backgrounds. I use portraiture as a tool to create and build relationships and genuine connections. My subjects are artists, teachers, body technicians, musicians, and so much more.
