me (2023) is a photo series consisting of 5 self portraits. The concept is to exaggerate parts of myself and personality through various objects, poses, and styles. I use such subjects as a tool to push myself out of my comfort zone personally, and artistically. The objects involved are googly eyes, safety pins, goggles, hair, makeup, etc. The objects, poses, and color is a way to intrigue the viewer and call attention to the images. These photographs are meant to be displayed and encourage to be seen up close and personal by others. Furthering the idea of being seen.
